When you order something from GC Fires, they will tell you it will take 3 to 5 days, but I've been waiting 6 weeks now for an order. During this time, I have followed up with Jarryd Jansen every week to find out what is going on, why there is a delay, and when the order will arrive. Every week he writes that he will follow up and that he will keep me updated. But he won't keep you updated. Or find out anything. Jarryd must be really busy. Then, last week I receive an email from Tasneem Lewis, who happily informs me that my order is now delayed due to the looting in KZN and Gauteng. I respond that it has been delayed for 5 weeks already, long before the looting started. I also explain how disappointed I am in GC Fires's ability to fulfil a paid-for order or communicate with their clients. Tasneem promises that she "will follow up as to why [Jarryd] has not given [me] updates" and also promises to keep me updated on the status of my order. But Tasneem must also be really busy, because she couldn't keep her promises either, just like her colleague Jarryd. Now, another week has passed and I've heard nothing from Jarryd or Tasneem. Today I called their office and spoke to a lady who informs me that my order has been shipped already. I don't know who the courier company is. I've not received an email or call to inform me of anything regarding the shipping. The uncertainty with this company is endless. But I am certain of one thing: you can't trust GC Fires to keep their word. My advice is to find another company to do business with.
