WHO ARE WE?
Thirst Bar Services is the leading Premium Bar Company in Southern Africa. Established in 2005, our core areas of service are Bar Events, Training and Consulting. Our team of highly accomplished bartenders have combined multiple years of local and international experience and successes.
The training and upliftment of South African bar craft is where our passion lies. A group of idealistic, world class, professional bartenders aiming to raise the skill level of our trade. The increasing growth and development of the bar industry is the responsibility of its stake holders. A responsibility we gladly bare with pride, vision and determination.
Our goal is simple: To empower bartenders to take pride and ownership of their trade and increase productivity and profits for employers.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
Statistics state 10 000 hours of practice is needed to become a professional in a specified field. That calculates to 1250 shifts in the bar service industry – a standard we do not take lightly. Our courses are developed by industry professionals that have put in those shifts and some.
Each course is designed not only to increase practical bartending skills, but it also covers history, product and production knowledge. Our training focuses on raising service levels and developing the selling ability of bartenders. Knowledge is the key to negotiation. Other main areas of focus are practical application and confidence building, customer service and bar administration.
