The Yard is a pre-primary situated in Lynnwood Ridge, Pretoria. We offer Grade R, Grade RR and Grade RRR classes. For Grade R we follow the CAPS curriculum and the school has been recognized by the Gauteng department of Education for its facilities and quality education.
Grade R is the start of the foundation phase and is the bases of any child’s education in South Africa. All our Grade R educators are fully qualified and we strive to empower learners to be ready for their “Big School” day when they move to Grade 1.
For the other grades, Grade RR and Grade RRR there isn’t a formal curriculum set out by the Gauteng Education Department. We follow an informal curriculum, focusing on the all-round development of the learner in preparation of Grade R. Our educators provide learner through fun activities. We aim to make the young learners feel safe and happy to develop unique little individuals.
